Last Saturday, Harrison Boiler Robotics walked at the annual Lafayette Christmas parade! We had a blast handing out candy canes, driving our Christmas tree robot, and seeing everyone interact with the panda! 🐼💚

Last Saturday, Harrison Boiler Robotics held our annual Mock Kickoff! Students got a preview of what the real kickoff on January 10th will be like by reviewing the 2022 game, discussing rules and strategies, playing a human version of the game, and watching match footage. 💚🐼

Last Saturday, Team 1747 had an outreach event at the Klondike Library! While there, we had multiple stations that allowed children to experience all aspects of STEAM and FIRST. Thank you to the Tippecanoe Library Klondike branch for hosting us and letting us run this event! 💚🐼

Last Saturday, Harrison Boiler Robotics attended the Walk-Like-Woodie event at Southwestern Middle School. At this event, we had our old 2024 competition bot, Jorgie, shooting notes! We also walk around the track to honor Woodie Flowers and what he meant to FIRST. 🐼💚

Thank you to the Indiana Department of Education for awarding Harrison Boiler Robotics with $7,000 through the 2025-2026 K-12 Robotics Competition Grant! HBR is extremely grateful for the support of IDOE in helping us foster STEAM learning on our robotics team and community. 💚🐼

Last Thursday, Team 1747 was at the Tippecanoe County Fair for Day at the Fair, and we let kids interact with our PR robots. Later in the day, we gave a brief presentation and demonstration of our 2025 competition robot, alongside @Team4272 and @frc461 with their robots. 🐼💚

HBR had our first offseason competition this weekend at RiverBOaT Rumble! We had such a great time competing and playing with teams from different states, as well as incorporating incoming freshmen to our team! We also stuck around afterward to help disassemble the field. 💚🐼
