Tonight Sgt Hall and CI Trewin both attended the Cadet Awareness Facilitator training. This will now enable them to go out to Squadrons and brief about Inclusion. Also a great opportunity to talk to other people in the country who are also passionate about inclusion.

A mixed night tonight as there was lots of preparation for next weeks award evening, the cadets also sorted donations for the clothes bank, NCOs had their meeting . And a group looked at inclusivity and what we can do to help

Final trial music night tonight, and they’ve been told that they’ve impressed us over summer so will be doing a music display at the Awards Evening. Tonight we practiced some of the ones they will be playing on it. And tried a much harder WW1 Medley

Today we say farewell to Cdt Campbell. He has been fantastic to have on the Squadron, and was part of our Falcon Trophy Team last year - winning in the STEM Competition. He has spent the summer in Uganda with the school, and we wish him the very best in his future endeavours.

Four years ago the cadets did a fantastic job of restoring trophies which were found in the depth of the garages. We ran out of time for bases so they did temporary ones. We are now in the process of building permanent bases for them.

Tonight projects was on the program but there was a bit of a mash up as the Awards Evening is less than 2 weeks away. Table to continued their campaign, whilst Comms started making a display. Cartography measured up the trophies, and started building the uniform display.

Cadets have been doing some work on our display cadets ready for awards evening. Not as easy as it looks! Just waiting for two more to turn up to display DPM and MTP

What a fantastic day at the National Air and Space Camp Industry Day at RAF Syerston! . Both our staff and cadets joined the Wing, it may have been an exceptional long day (bus left at 3.30am!) but it was absolutely amazing and worth the journey. Thank you to @2ftsCamp

A massive thank you to Imagine Outdoors who hosted the Squadron last night. The Cdts learnt about edible plants, shot for their ingredients using archery, learnt to prep wood for fires, light fires, cooking, and even whittled their own chop sticks to eat their dinner.

Yesterday Cpl T, Cpl F and Cdt T all completed phase 1 of the Method of Instruction Course. Phase 2 is they self assessments on the Squadron, and their first lessons will be helping the current MoI cadets with First Class Training.

Today we joined the VJ Service in Camborne . We were very proud to be able to remember the great generation of people who lived and served through World War 2 on the 80th Anniversary of VJ Day

Tonight we had a group completing their blue space qualification, a group doing cyber adventure and a group building their own Exit Escape Room game ready to tackle on another night.

Today, cadets and staff attended a VJ Service at Carn Brea Parish. It was a meaningful occasion to honor and reflect on the sacrifices made during the war. A day of remembrance and gratitude.
