As a big Makoto fan, it's sad when a lot of context from Makoto's confidant is simplified to "she just wanted to be a cop". The context being her decision is fueled by the ongoing crime and exploitation of women and children in Shinjuku, and what almost happened to her & Eiko.
i like her but her confidant did NOT do her justice it felt very boring and near the end flat out ooc and her dream of being a cop doesnt help and just makes her feel out of place of the game and is not something makoto would do esp after the events of p5
