I’m happy he’s going to Milan but I hate it that US Figure Skating and NBC will continue to exploit him and bring up his parents every chance they get. If he brings them up, that’s fine but it’s not his whole story. He’s there because he earned it.
i really hope max had a say in how much they mentioned his parents and the tragedy he's lived through. it feels like something incredibly intimate being publicized. almost like we shouldn't be watching it
