✂️ To protect Scottish households from harmful Labour cuts, we’ve committed: . 👉 £74.8 million to mitigate the Bedroom Tax in full. 👉 £7.8 million to offset the damaging effects of the Benefit Cap. 👉 £7.9 million for other housing related hardship payments.

🚨 The SNP @scotgov is spending £90 million to shield families from the impact of Westminster austerity in 25/26. 🥀 Since coming to power, @theSNP has now spent £1.2 billion mitigating Westminster policies, with this figure only increasing following Labour entering government.

📈 Bills coming down is welcome, but Labour are failing to mention that these are still substantially higher than when they took power. ⚡ Scotland is an energy-rich nation, yet under Westminster, we are forced to pay some of the most expensive energy prices in Europe.

🚨 Labour is misleading voters over energy bills. 🥀 Before the 2024 GE, Labour promised to cut energy bills by £300. Instead, they have soared by £281. ‼️ Last week, Labour celebrated that bills will soon fall by £129 - but that still leaves them £452 higher than promised.

🥀 Meanwhile Labour governments in England and Wales have increased tuition fees to record levels. Just last year, Labour hiked tuition fees in England to £9,535 – the first increase in eight years. ‼️ While Labour fails Scotland, the SNP delivers.
