Last night at #Team1248, cadets took part in a field first aid exercise!. As part of the session, cadets in groups had to locate and treat their downed casualties, stabilising their injuries before transporting them to an Emergency Rendezvous point. Well done all!. @aircadets

Today we saw cadets from #Team1248 take part in the @DNWAirCadets Archery & E-Sports competitions!. Well done to our cadets for their efforts across both events and also to 1248 staff members FS Matthews & WO Gault for overseeing the running of the archery comp!. @aircadets

Yesterday, cadets and staff from #Team1248 had the pleasure of joining members of @DNWAirCadets at the @RAF_Leeming Families Day!. As well as a range of in-air and ground displays, Stn Cdr RAF Leeming, an ex 1248 cadet, also took time to chat to those in attendance!. @aircadets

Well done to our magnificent seven cadets at #Team1248, who this weekend completed their Bronze @DofE Qualifying expedition!. Despite the warm weather, the group worked hard & got the job done 🙌🏻. Thank you also to our Sqn staff for supporting the team this weekend!. @aircadets

Bravo to the superb six cadets from #Team1248, who completed their two qualifying marches for their Blue Road Marching badges!. Despite warm conditions for the second march, the cadets reverted to civvies & with extra breaks, completed with no issues!. @DNWAirCadets .@ComdtAC

Well done to #Team1248’s FS Lewis & Cpl Gardener, who represented @DNWAirCadets at the @AirCadetsNorth Athletics competition, achieving an amazing 2nd place!. FS Lewis also picked up 2 x 🥇 in the Jr Women Discus & 4 x 100m relay, a great effort!. @aircadets .@ComdtAC

This past weekend, members of #Team1248 were honoured to attend an Armed Forces Day event in Prudhoe. Joining colleagues from the ACF, members of the Armed Forces, veterans and members of the emergency services, it was a privilege to be in attendance. @aircadets .@ComdtAC

At the conclusion of our AFI, OC @DNWAirCadets, Wg Cdr Blackie, presented some awards to our recent shooting successes at #Team1248!. Well done to the nine cadets awarded their Blue Shot badges after meeting the standard during our recent workshops!. @aircadets .@ComdtAC

Tonight we saw a number of our cadets at #Team1248 head to @PWaterworld, as they attempted their Swimming competencies!. All cadets completed their basic as a minimum, allowing them to partake in water based activities in the @aircadets!. @ComdtAC

This week at #Team1248, we have been delving into the leadership syllabus!. Our newer cadets have started working towards their Blue badges, whilst the other cadets on the Sqn were getting reacquainted with some shelter and stretcher building!. @aircadets .@ComdtAC
