Not gonna be in Cannes for EthCC this week. i'll be at home, working (yes real work, wouldn't expect a lot of you to understand anyway). so please don't DM me asking me which side event i'm at or if i want to grab drinks. you'll most likely get aired because i'll be locked in.

I'll admit I'm happy with this progress but doesn't change the fact that the first several hours are a complete nightmare and I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy.

I've gotten to a point where it takes me around 1-2 days to gain good context of a large codebase by fucking around here and there. This used to be a couple weeks around year ago. The ideal goal is a couple of hours.

Your app is only as verifiable as it's most centralised component. If you're building on the verifiable cloud, you need to ensure there are no trusted enities in the entire architecture. Keep building 🏗️🏗️🏗️.

Solana can never be as credibly neutral and decentralised as ethereum. It’s literally just the laws of physics. A centralised sequencer on an L2 cannot censor transactions as users can post directly to L1. A centralised sequencer won’t post invalid state transitions because.
solana is fighting alone against an infinite network of highly specialized chains. L2s are cheaper & faster. no L1 can beat their low latency & unlimited horizontal scalability. ethereum L1 is credibly neutral & censorship-resistant. it cannot be stopped with its maximal.

Okay for the first time in a long time, cursor helped me. Had a question about a large codebase I didn't have complete context of, asked cursor to verify a thesis by logic and testing. It quickly wrote a bunch of scripts and ran them to confirm my thesis. Manually testing out.
