Kanpai!!🍶🎉 We left it late, but the Club got the Bobu Sake Run done just in time. Epic effort all around…though Bobu’s missing from Strava so we can’t confirm if he ran 🤔 📏 2140 km (1330 miles) ⏱️ 220 hours ⚡️ 6:10 min/km pace (9:55 min/mile) 🏃 34 athletes IKZ! ⛩️

BOBU'S SAKE RUN // ISHIKAWA SHUZO The last brewery of the sake run! One of Tokyo’s last breweries, Ishikawa (石川酒造) brews Tamajiman with soft spring water and 160 years of tradition. Plus: craft beer, soba, and a garden. @BobuBeanFarmer calls it his kind of temple. 🍶⛩️🏃💨

BOBU'S SAKE RUN // NAKAYU Nestled in Miyagi’s hills, Nakayu (中勇酒造店) is a tiny brewery with deep roots. Their Tenjo Mugen ginjo helped pioneer the style locally: floral, clean, once served over ice. 90% of their sake stays local, unless @BobuBeanFarmer smuggles a bottle.
