AFAIK, this is the first Solana orderflow product that enables direct rebates to users. The backrunning will happen regardless—this returns some of the value back to users rather than leaking it to the rest of the stack. This is a positive market structure development for Solana.

I've talked to dozens of crypto founders over the last few weeks about token launches. The common theme is that launching a coin today is more opaque, more extractive, and less fair than an IPO. It's embarrassing for an industry that professes transparency and fairness.
