If you're building nights and weekends, freelancing can be a quick way to do what you love full time on your own terms. It shouldn't be as hard as it currently is though specially if you're building in public and your work is visible.

if you're new to freelance it's almost impossible to land a gig on the existing marketplaces without botting or cheating the game. having an audience and proof of work on social is critical.
