3/3 In the coming weeks, we're rolling out improvements that highlight why this matters. Scaling blockchain execution isn't just about completing more laps, it's about making each lap faster. GPS is the metric that actually moves the needle. Stay tuned.

2/3 BPS (Blocks Per Second) sounds better, but still falls short. Blocks aren't uniform, and stuffing more into a chain doesn't mean efficient execution. GPS (Gas Per Second) is the real measure. It tracks actual computational throughput—how much work gets done, not just how many.

How do you judge how fast a blockchain really is? TPS? BPS? Not so fast (pun intended)!.TPS (Transactions Per Second) is old-school. Transactions vary in complexity. Measuring performance this way is like judging a race car by the number of laps completed, without considering.

3/3 High-performance systems — whether in trading or blockchain — win by eliminating unnecessary latency. Smarter caching and reduced I/O overhead aren't just improvements; they're prerequisites for scaling execution. We're making that happen at Altius.

2/3 Why wait on an SSD when you can serve state from cache instead? By minimizing redundant disk reads, we're significantly reducing execution stalls — bringing blockchain infra closer to HFT-grade performance.

In HFT, every microsecond counts. Caching, data locality, and reducing redundant I/O aren't just optimizations—they're survival tactics. We're applying the same principles to blockchain execution, cutting SSD access and keeping state hot in memory.

4/4 Every time, optimizing memory was the solution. Altius is building on these lessons to take blockchain execution to the next level.

3/4 All major chains have struggled with scaling due to storage and slow disk access:.•BTC → UTXO growth.•ETH → MPT growth.•SOL → Solana Account Model growth. What was the solution?.

2/4 At Altius, we’re doing exactly that. Memory locality, speculative execution, and parallel state sharding eliminate bottlenecks, making execution as fast and efficient as modern trading engines. Instead of being constrained by disk I/O, everything runs in-memory, unlocking.

I’ve spent 15 years in HFT, where execution speed is everything. Latency is measured in nanoseconds, not seconds. Traditional blockchains, by contrast, process transactions like batch databases — slow, sequential, and I/O-bound. But what if we applied HFT principles to.
