The WORST THING that could happen to Bitcoin: It becomes a Rolex. Something that only the Rich truly own and use. The rest of us may get indirect exposure through ETFs and centralized funds but we don't use it, it's not part of our daily life.

Crypto UX will only be good enough when users can't possibly make silly mistakes. Been using crypto since 2017 and I still occasionally make a blunder like using the wrong network or a bridge without sufficient liquidity. Not good enough

Some of the replies to this are shocking and explain a lot about why we are where we are as industry. I guess Bitcoin is just another way for the rich to hoard value then.
The cypherpunk vision was clearly electronic cash for private, peer-to-peer payments. The ‘digital asset’ narrative came later from others. Strange that this is even controversial
