Introducing ENSv2: The Next Generation of ENS 🎉🎉🎉
ENS Labs is excited to announce our proposal to extend the ENS protocol to a Layer 2 network. This move isn't just about migrating parts of the protocol; we're re-envisioning the architecture from the ground up!
Thinking about cultural extensions from the other side is that it's actually Ethereum culture being split via L2s.
This has advantages - L2s creating new culture for new problems.
And disadvantages - composability of culture is reduced.

subgraph is live on The Graph Network 🔥
ENS uses The Graph to pull in and display onchain data on in a seamless, decentralized way.
The ENS subgraph is used to organize data including:

Come listen to him speak at 1pm on the Leaf Stage ☘️
Notes from today’s ENS Version 2 Space:
@nicksdjohnson
: ENS V1 has three levels of registry keeping track of who owns each name and what resolver is for each address.
Disadvantage of ENS V1:
- Subdomains remain intact when parent name expires.
