Anyone can tell you if you don’t feed someone for 3 weeks they will die. Laura was in a hospital with hundreds of medical professionals and not one of them realised that not giving any nutrition for 3 weeks would kill her, not one. I can’t get my head round it.
It makes no sense to us that we heard lots about the risks of re-feeding syndrome, or the danger of Laura’s electrolytes being unbalanced, but no-one seems to understand that the risks of not feeding Laura meant that she was starving, as she died in front of us.

My mother was told although it sounded counterintuitive giving her food and water would not increase her life expectancy as it would feed the cancer more than it would feed my mum, I made a complaint they carried on giving her food and water and she made a full recovery.

Amazing how many times in hospital I’ve been told nutrition doesn’t work, hydration doesn’t work, antibiotics doesn’t work with elderly patients. And amazingly every time I’ve got the hospital to try these ‘treatments’ the elderly person has recovered just like a normal person!

Just a humanitarian, empathetic thought, as there are currently 4982 spare beds in the Nightingale Hospital I’m sure we could find a couple of older and vunerable patients who would gladly take up those spare beds rather than dying from no treatment at all.

My ex-wife and her 4 year old son were knocked off her bike in Brighton yesterday by a very aggressive cyclist. She had 20 stitches in her lip and smashed 3 of her teeth. The bloke gave a false number and rode off. If you witnessed this please DM me. Please RT.

Amazingly it looks like Dr Heath’s post mortems were used to cover up rather than investigate. If you don’t know what a gallbladder looks like then you probably don’t know what the cause of death is. Inaccuracies in a PM can have very serious consequences.

Sadly this is not unusual my mother starved to death in hospital. As long as doctors continue to see food and water as treatment, which can be withheld because it’s treatment, people will continue to starve to death in hospitals.

This poor girl was starved to death in hospital the one place where there are so many ways to give nutrition. They took the time to discuss weaning her off nutrition but they never actually gave it to her. To live you need food and water. Is this really 21st Century medicine?
2) Laura's nutritional intake was not given sufficient consideration from 29 Sept to 19 Oct [fuller answer] no discussion of benefits of TPN, instead heavy and in my view inappropriate focus on risks and need for plan to wean Laura off something she'd not been started on
