That makes up for losing to Boston in the play offs a few yrs back and them horrible scroats who got their hands on this club. The Gateshead Soul and fans got it back. It's a completely different club now and its heart beats with the town and its community.

If you were a neutral which I'm not. I can imagine the Gateshead v Leamington was a belter to watch. It was a superb battling 3pts. Leamington were always dangerous mind. They've been one of the best sides here to be honest.

Adam, I think they play better football than Wrexham did and defend better than County did. They're a mix of both. I think they're the best side I've seen in this League and i've witnessed some good sides in this league.

Gateshead under 10s lifting their league trophy on the pitch side in front of the packed stand. Everyone hollering and cheering as each player lifted the trophy. What a day for them young lads and seeing the young lads applauding everyone as they come off was excellent.

All I'm saying, yes we got beat and at times it was awful but you take the highs and you have to take lows. In the last few seasons, we can probably count on one hand the amount of times, we've been beat like that. Just move on.

Quite simply the greatest day of my Gateshead supporting life. The day we could say goodbye(I'm paraphrasing big style here) to Dumb n Dumber and their cronies. Never have I felt such joy, this moment totally eclipsed getting to Wembley or any win over them in Northumberland.
