Although we were extremely proud when BTS got a Grammy nomination for "Dynamite," there was also a twinge of dissatisfaction and an undercurrent of xenophobia that we all felt. Here's my take on why BTS' Grammy nomination feels like both a win and a loss:
thanks everyone for the support on this article!! i also recently wrote a review of 'BE' if anyone is interested, and my other articles can be found here:
"BTS takes listeners on an emotional journey that starts with a promise of a light at the end of the tunnel and ends with a taste of that light. In between is a sampling of everything the artists have to offer."
Check out my review of 'BE' here:

Just my thoughts but I've always feel that BTS wanted the Grammy nom not to win it, but in order to hv a solo stage at Grammy. They love performing so much that a Grammy solo stage would be a bigger win for them. A win is just a bonus, n there will be more nom in the future.☺️💜

if the grammys weren't xenophobic and actually liked them, then they could've submitted black swan and it would've dominated the categories. all we can do is dream..

ahhhhh so well written & well said as always 😌 it’s such a travesty that the recording academy treats poc artists as they do ,, but thank u for writing this!! 🥺
@gracefully_jk
it's because of that travesty that articles like this need to be written. this piece was a vent, more than anything. thank you for reading!!! 💞💞
