from "curry" to bindis to mudras, south asian cultural appropriation has been a huge problem in k-pop for many years now and i'm fed up. my culture is not a joke. my culture is not an aesthetic. take ten minutes out of your day and please educate yourself:

I definitely feel bad that my girls from 2NE1 ended up appropriating. Wish it had been more of a conversation back then. I'm glad they haven't done it again since & since their solo careers started; maybe someone educated them. Thank you for educating the rest of us more!
