No matter what the outcome -- this is an irrational, impractical and ultimately childish way to make crucial business and life decisions. Running Twitter was always going to be real hard - Musk seems to be folding under the pressure. Sad...

Should I step down as head of Twitter? I will abide by the results of this poll.

@yaronbrook Looking back at his accomplishments and everything he is/has been involved in ..this pressure is relatively mild.

@kempstep Maybe it's a new type of pressure -- a kind he is not suited for.

@yaronbrook Twitter isn't a business. It's a partisan intelligence ploy

@yaronbrook Elon reportedly is done w/ brutal HR hatchet work (80%) which few professional managers/CEOs would have wanted to do immediately after hire. Re-engineering code, monetizing, policy minutiae are better left to others. I think he’s giving democratic veneer to fait accompli.

@VitalikButerin @elonmusk Why he has to resort to the results of these democratic polls? majorities are almost never right. Is his private property, there is no one better than him to make any decision of what to do with it.

@yaronbrook It doesn't matter. He'll still be telling the new head what to do. Elon Musk is a troll, that's what he's doing.
