What seems to typify the modern left is the negation of any responsibility for ones own life;
why work if gov can send me a check
why research when a regulator can tell me what I should do
why save when the gov will provide
why think when others can do it for me...
@yaronbrook
Libertarianism may never recover from your catastrophic debate with Sam. When libertarianism gets broken down issue by issue it completely falls apart.
@yaronbrook
1: why work if gov can send me a check -
because that cheque is insufficient, every time.
why research when a regulator can tell me what I should do -
because regulators are expected to have a higher level of education in their particular subject...
@yaronbrook
How do I take personal responsibility for weather the small white pill in a foil packet is toxic or is actually what it says it is? Are we all supposed to have labs in our garages now ?
@yaronbrook
Im assuming if children were there, youโd suggest they simply made a bad decision? Because it seems to me that if you really believe that, your moral worldview goes against what humans are about. Working together to able to flourish individually and socially.
@yaronbrook
I think if these employers paid a living wage then people would be jumping to go to work. Most people want to work. They just don't want to do it for peanuts๐คทโโ๏ธ
@yaronbrook
Negation of responsibility, but also the belief that responsibility is not possible for a large cohort of society
What percentage though?
5%, 15%, 20%, 50%?
