Matt saying allura wouldn't help with ashton because whitestone is more important, really puts into perspective how much destruction ashton's decision could have caused #CriticalRoleSpoilers

Thanks to allura, the worst outcome would've seen dead not only ashton, but fcg and fearne too. Maybe even the others, depending on the timing the shards went off. But some people are making it out to be something ashton had the right to decide by themselves #CriticalRoleSpoilers

Which is so incredibly not true. Even had he been the only casualty, this meant the hells were missing one strong ally, just before a ridiculously important and dangerous mission, let alone three. And this not even considering the emotional trauma and shock #CriticalRoleSpoilers

@yangpanic Oh yeah he was playing with fire and earth. The two forces that probably came together to form the planet. If they had become full unstable who knows what kind of explosions could have occurred. Mix in the dunamis and who knows

@gregshipo Boy. It would be so interesting if matt gives him some sort of permanent penalty. I've seen people bringing up a d100 roll like chetney and other stuff. What even happens when they die

@yangpanic Yeah. Some people are acting like Ashton was the only one who was at risk of dying. Everyone in the bubble was likely gone if Ashton failed. Matt may have given fearne and FCG a chance to get out... but that would have only been a chance. I think Matt intentionally moved it

@yangpanic #CriticalRoleSpoilers Even though Ashton pulled it off (thanks to Fearne, FCG and Deanna), he did damage within the group. Ashton (not Tal you freaks, stop with that) probably lost a lot of trust, right before a big mission for which they'll need it more than ever.

@yangpanic Considering that the first time a shard was put into Ash, it destroyed an entire village…. Yea… I’m not sure they really thought it through
