As it stands, the discussion phase set up in these top conferences is completely worse than in the visual ones, and at least the reviewers in the visual conferences respond to the rebuttal instead of sleep.

It's up to the reviewers to decide whether to participate in the discussion or not. It's just a matter of luck anyway, so why don't we just remove the rebuttal stage to save time?.

What's the point of having a rebuttal stage if a lot of reviewers from top conferences like neurips, iclr, etc. don't participate in the rebuttal stage discussion? #NeurIPS2023.
