We also asked about local dev tools. @LocalWP remains the most popular tool, used by 46.29% of all respondents.

When it comes to third-party extensions, @ACFExtended is still the most-used plugin, followed by @WPML’s ACF Multilingual add-on.

ACF is still a cornerstone of the dev workflow. Over two-thirds of respondents rated ACF as "very important," with a weighted average of 4.47.

The trend of "hybrid" site building continues to grow! This year, 49.51% of respondents said they build hybrid themes—slightly more than those who build classic WordPress sites (46.80%).

We asked users about their professional roles and where they work. Developers remain in the majority at 79.17%, and they're mostly working at agencies (46.98%) or as freelancers (34.27%).

The majority of respondents (67%) use ACF for all the sites they build, showing how integral ACF is to workflows.
