My absolute best use-case for AI is for developer experience tooling. My repo now checks for outdated versions every week without any external plugin on github.

Updated the test suite so my coverage is being checked. Meaning I will shoot myself in the foot if I don't write tests.

But I know full well if my younger self would see where I am now he would scold me to not complain about trivial stuff. He would be more proud that he would say. On that note I want to say to every person who ever may come across this post doubting themselves, you got this🔥.

As a self taught developer I’ve gotten through so many scenarios where I was questioning if it was even possible which eventually led me to get into software development. If I asked my younger self where I would be now he would have said I would still be stuck.

What I really want is to grow and learn in bigger settings however this feels too far away. Because if this i really wonder how I can tackle this by myself. Every time I notice myself questioning if I am doing a good job.

Saw video where someone was looking at #KiroDotDev and they went into how it uses spec driven development. So updated my own prompt that I use for my Cursor setup, and I really like the flow it takes now. It might take longer but it allows me to read through everything.

Updating my default prompt that I use for software development to see if that will make it a better flow or now.

A few weeks ago @Jordy_vD_ shared a prompt with me for cursor which is great for setting up plans before creating anything. Combining this with Claude Code feels really stable, still need to test it out some more but for now it is a great combination.

Sometimes when running git pull I need to set a commit message which I tend to find annoying. Instead I made a snippet that allows me to auto accept the commit message that git will provide.

What additional MCP's do y'all use with your AI tooling? I am mainly looking for development features that make things just easier.
