A rare moment captured yesterday high in the catchment: a female salmon creating her redd on one of our restored sites. You can see her shaping the gravel while the male stays alongside. This site now has improved access and better spawning gravel, creating greater opportunities

This video shows another habitat restoration site on the Morwynion, a tributary of the Dee. Here we have added and pinned lots of deadwood to the river bank. This provides habitat for invertebrates and cover for fish 🐟🐟🐟
