The project was built around three main use cases:

canvaskit-js works great on Safari 17.4 (technical preview), image filters on c2d are still not implemented: might still happen eventually

With React Native Skia we have control over the environment. We know which APIs we use and can make tweaks if needed. But we wanted to show that this can also work in an environment we have no control over, namely Flutter.
