The Pointer Prize Patrol brought holiday magic to educators across the district! It made for a meaningful start to #GivingTuesday. 🎄 Today, the Van Buren Education Foundation awarded 21 grants totaling $24,572 to support innovative projects and classroom experiences in VBSD.

VBSD recognized the FFA program at last Tuesday’s board meeting. Led by India Dement and Aly Duran, students volunteer with Old McDonald’s Farm, grow through numerous leadership opportunities, and support community efforts like the Battle of the Bone pet supply drive.

VBHS has been awarded $113,214.87 through the Arkansas School Recognition Program for being named among the Top 5% of all public schools in the state for student growth. The awarded funds will be reinvested into enhancing continued academic excellence and student success!

The VBHS Marching Band delivered an incredible performance at the 6A State Marching Contest, earning a First Division Rating, First in Visual, and being named State Runner-Up! Congratulations to these students and directors on an outstanding season!
