i dont like how major conflicts are resolved so anticlimactically (is that a word???) i.e. satan and the four horsemen being defeated in s1 and the whole gabriel thing in s2.....
i get that its on purpose and its MEANT to go against ppls expectations but personally i just love drama and high stakes so thats what im manifesting for s3 🙏🙏
@abbrilzz
TBH IT MGHT BE BC it doesnt adapt as well to tv ??? like reading that part in book didnt feel too weird but in shows we expect those kinds of scenes to be more action-y (IDK IF THIS MAKES SENSE???)
@twistedshell
FR and it just lets me forget about what's supposed to be the season's climax 😔 i only ever remember the "filler" stuff for the seasons tbh i fully forgot about santan and the 4 horsemen
@twistedshell
s1 ending made sense to me actually. Adam could shape reality in whatever way he wanted, and this is how an 11 year old would see a story like that concluded- with the power of friendship defeating evil and everyone getting a happy ending
@neverendingyell
OK WAIT that makes a lot kf sense i never thought abt it from adams pov … makes me wonder how s3 will go tho and whether well get a repeat of that w jesus ???
@twistedshell
i do laugh a little every time i’m watching adam “defeat” satan because it just felt like the build up was so big only for adam to go “you’re no my dad” and satan to just crumble into dust
