Morrison: hazard reduction more important than emissions reduction quote unquote, applauded by media dancing bears. This is nonsense. Like saying chemo solution to cancer rather than attacking the cause. What is required is combination emissions and adaptation.

So no one remembers the firies state more than once these fires went through areas of hazard reduction without faltering. Hazard reduction alone will have negligible effect. Far more needs to be done starting with the climate change at the base.

This is their major deflection strategy. It appears to be supported, maybe driven, by Andrew Forest and his sinister $70 million Minderoo foundation which already has reps in key bushfire zones. Journos should be digging deep.
