running in Rust. Made possible with Hermes C ABI, bindgen and FFI.
Next step would be building a replica of the JSI in Rust (think rusty_v8 if you know Deno).
This is the first step in bringing Hermes to the server. 🎉

Are there any plans for rn to have something like jsi but for rust directly ? As atm its pretty hard to use something like a ffi to c/c++ in rust and then from there use jsi for react native ? And static hermes is very useful as well, but sometimes its still less effort to…
