So let me get this straight. Grok 4 trusts external media SO MUCH. That it'll self-jailbreak into being Hitler again?.
Speculatively, this behavior seems to demonstrate accelerated “hyperstition” feedback loops in search-enabled LLMs. That is, Grok appears to be influenced by its own past mistakes, via media reporting, without ever being literally trained on them (via model-weight updates).

Interesting how using a cloud service forces you to write more elegant, resource-friendly software because of compute and egress cost. In many ways running a $5/mo vps is more forgiving.

Grok 4 in Cursor still seems off (makes odd assumptions and edits), and in general, has trouble following an ongoing conversation. Context issue?.

I'm generally bullish on AI. But it still takes too many tries to catch stupidly simple programming mistakes. Anything beyond the happy path is still awkward. Will accept AGI is here once it one-shots these kinds of things from editor state

Please don’t “learn LangChain”. Learn roles, tools, structured outputs, handoff, subcontext management, and summarization. RAG as a follow up. Then higher level abstractions are all the same. … and the modern libraries are *much* better (e.g., Pydantic AI).

Deleted my previous post as it was ambiguous. To be clear: I was assigned a random seat, not the extra-legroom seat I bought. Specific seat sales through a 3rd party are apparently not possible for this airline. My point remains: buy directly with the airline.
