I've had no problem buying iPhones every year since the 3gs but I stopped at ip7+ 256gb. I was considering to buy the xs Max 512gb but it's $1,449 minus taxes (OMG) It's the price of a Mac and it doesn't even run Mac OS? 🤔 I'm sticking to my LG V30+. 🍏 has gone 💵 🤪

PSA: A lot of people saw this slide in the keynote yesterday and thought it meant iPhone Xs has a 120Hz display. It doesn't! It refreshes the touch sensing layer at 120Hz (just like iPhone X already does) but the screen's refresh rate is still 60Hz. Sorry, no ProMotion this year!

Just the thought of even considering to make a pre-order.... What the hell was I thinking. My 7+ is still like new and I primarily use an awesome LG V30.

Why buy a new phone every year though? My 6 plus is still running perfectly fine and my battery capacity is only at 88%. For me these updates to the iPhone XS/Max are really good and are a massive upgrade over the 6 plus and that’s because I don’t update every year.
