No-one's going to make you get out of your car Kate! Let's build the infrastructure so other people ride bikes, it's liberating for those in poverty, the disabled, the aged, people with medical conditions who can't drive, and those too young to drive

Grew up in a suburb of Melbourne. Local shops (10minute walk away) included 2x milk bars, a chemist, fruit/vegetable shop, a newsagent, a hairdresser & across the road was our GP. Now as an adult, still in the same suburb, I have to get in my car & drive for these services. 🤦♀️

People in Oxford will be tracked by facial and number plate recognition cameras and fined if they drive out of their “approved zone”. Tell me again how “15-minute cities” aren’t increasing government control and why people expressing concern should be ridiculed?
