1/7 We launched Spark on @ycombinator! It’s always been a dream to build software that powers society. As a teenager, I wrote a proposal for my high school to go solar and invited installers on campus. In 2018, I saw Brazil’s diesel crisis adversely impact my family’s business.
YC W24's Spark ( uses AI to simplify utility-scale clean energy development, making data on grid interconnection and permits accessible. Congrats on the launch, @thejuliawu and @taehkimmm!

Energy consumption is directly correlated with human progress. Demand will grow to fuel more prosperity. So, the electricity we generate and consume has to be abundant, clean, and cheap.
Jensen Huang says nuclear energy will be a "vital, integral" part of powering AI and he hopes that we consume more energy in the future because we can now compress energy into intelligence, leading to improvements in quality of life and prosperity
