Mollie shares some info about the causes and treatments of Hypertonic Pelvic Floor Dysfunction. It’s caused by tight pelvic floor muscles which causes pain. She recommends working with a pelvic floor physical therapist to help loosen the muscles.

If you notice vulvar skin changes including shrinking, tightening, white patches, ulceration, or cuts, see your doctor. If your doctor is unsure, see a provider who feels comfortable diagnosing and managing vulvar skin conditions.
