The pandemic spurred Joshua’s creativity to set up a community cluster with the support of parents in his community. Classes are being held in groups of not more than 15 pupils for 2 periods of 50 minutes each on alternating days with focus on literacy and numeracy skills.

Our 2018 Fellow, Chibueze Eleanya, just completed the construction of sanitary facilities in his school, serving 1200 students. ⁣ ⁣ The facilities include 12 standard gender-separated student toilets for pupils and 2 standard staff gender-separated toilets for teachers.
