making tuis pretty @charmcli in the day hacking on Lilly the TUI editor (https://t.co/zYtEHthnzQ) at night

@LukasHozda @Malix_Labs Howdy par'dner, you've earned yourself a piece a'holsterin! Ok, I can try. So I am using V because: 1. LLMs have no idea what it is, so it would piss off the non-AI assistant challenged. 2. It's not Rust, so it'll make them go crying to the UN that someone mean created a new

Even more important than stars: it’s in 23k+ open source projects at companies like NVIDIA, GitHub and AWS, with many more implementations in closed source ✌️
Lip Gloss hit 🌟10k on GitHub!! Her personal brand is unmistakable and she’s GREAT at style and layout in terminals, especially when it comes to TUIs. We’re so proud of her! She’s in use in over 23k open source projects, and all of this is thanks to YOU. 💌

project petal's file picker input field's virtual cursor fade blinks but now properly interacts with mutli or single width characters! :3

It is honestly very cool seeing Bubble Tea stand up and perform like this. Solid execution by Weights & Biases too
🤫 Something's been brewing in stealth. Our SDK team's side project, codenamed W&B LEET, is being unleashed. We are releasing a full Terminal UI (TUI) for live, interactive W&B monitoring right in your terminal. No browser, no internet, no problem.

it's been a long time since i've seen hype around crypto and web3. wasn't that supposed to be the future of tech?

I wanted to make all these Steve Jobs puns, but it was getting too weird. Anyway, this is a big one. Basically, Crush lets LLMs do all kinds of really interesting things in parallel, far beyond coding. If you’re playing with infra I’d definitely give this a look.
New in Crush today: Jobs! Crush can now run and manage background processes. Spin up a dozen Xcode builds, start a swarm of Docker containers, and go crazy. The asynchronous world is now at your (LLM’s) fingertips.

Hi everyone, Grand Theft Auto VI will now release on Thursday, November 19, 2026. We are sorry for adding additional time to what we realize has been a long wait, but these extra months will allow us to finish the game with the level of polish you have come to expect and

this feels like a bad idea, but maybe having defers in loops previously was always a bad idea anyway https://t.co/CBBN2RZ5l9

Based on #22445 (comment). This PR modifies the behavior of defer so that it only executes at the end of the scope where it was declared. Currently, defer only executes at the end of each function....

btw I haven't done this part yet, but in this example this is necessary for rendering a single line of text in different colours, but the parts that make up the line are dynamic/non-deterministic.

does anyone understand what I'm on about re: offsetting so further paints/draws are done relative to the current total offset stack? if you've ever done graphics render programming I think this should be clear, but lmk.

I've made the petal project public on a brand new branch within Lilly. https://t.co/3DLAFTKCOD

"async done right" and it doesn't do cancellation properly, still doesn't let you hold, manually implement and poll coroutines granularly they want all-async rust (with coercion to sync fns if 0 await points) functions but can't realize it
The new IO interface has just been introduced in Zig. It’s a major breaking change, but also a super exciting one. This is finally async done right.

every time I talk about my engine with devs that used @unity their whole life I always get the same reaction: 1 - they don't believe one person can build an engine that surpasses it and 2 - even if they could, it must result in tech that is "too hard" to use this used to
just finished my animation system in C and turns out it's ~14 times faster than @unity's animation system. I didn't optimize any of this btw, probably could be much faster still 🧵

will probably write a blog post or two about it, but I've created a TUI library called "bobatea", designed as a similar lib as bubbletea from the Go ecosystem but for V. I've started using this to re-write Lilly (my editor) from the ground up, codename "project petal".
