Wall Street got greedy and took risks. That’s what the stock market is about. If you can’t handle the risk then don’t play the game, but don’t stop the common man from winning just because you’re not. This isn’t what the free market is about.

Just because the corporations are profiting doesn’t negate the fact that individuals are profiting too. I’ve seen people use these gains to fund surgery, to fund rent and expenses, to continue funding education. We can all win if we keep pushing.

It’s okay if the movement doesn’t know me or care about me, I care about the movement. When robinhood locked me out of buying stocks this morning, I was enraged that it’s something they can do and get away to protect the rich. This isn’t about me, this is about the people.
