Resources! I started out with the TTMIK books and Iβm on level three now~ I also watch a lot of their yt classes as well as lessons from @GoBillyKorean . I like to watch vlogs in korean and practice shadowing what they say as well. #languagebloom2020

(For mandarin) I bought a couple textbooks- A Practical Chinese Grammar and New Practical Chinese Reader. I also use the app HelloChinese every other day! π¨π³ #day2 #languagebloom2020

Day 3: (Korean) I became interested at first because of korean music! I wanted to understand the lyrics βΊοΈ but then I discovered korean food and culture as well! The language introduced me to self-study, something that made me feel so accomplished and happy!

(Mandarin) I studied abroad recently in HK, where I saw Chinese characters everywhere and made friends who spoke Cantonese and Mandarin! The language seemed more approachable and I wanted to be able to talk with my friends in their native language! (Still a long way to go haha)
