In fairness, the Ksh. 12 T is for all sovereign debt (Foreign and domestic), meaning that slightly less than 50% if owed to non-Kenyans.
Kenya’s government is drowning in debt. We’ve borrowed over KSh 12 trillion from Kenyans, the World Bank, IMF, and others. Every new project Kasongo announces piles on more debt. Pure reckless spending in a desperate bid to win 2027.
