As of December 26th, 2025 at 10:20 AM, my beloved cat Shadow has passed away at the age of 15. This cat was more than just a pet to me, he was my best friend. Ever since I got him in 2014 he's been my best buddy.

Ever since we moved for a second time he's been getting weaker and weaker to the point of being bedridden. I finally decided it was time to let him go. Even then he was still happy, I could tell. I did everything I could for him and I hope he knew that he was loved.

He's been the best thing to ever happen to me and I will miss him dearly. I'm going to miss having him on my shoulder, and how tolerant he was of everything. I used to joke that you could throw him into the sun and he still wouldn't be bothered he's that much of a sweetheart.

He's been there for everything and now he's gone. He was there when his brother tragically died in 2022, he was there when I moved to Michigan in 2023 to start a new life. He even came with me in May of this year to live with my girlfriend.
