@spiritussystems For general use, the Wrangler ATG line has been durable and affordable. For rougher use, I recently got to use some Beyond Clothing field pants that definitely held up to briars better, but took forever to dry out after getting soaked.

@spiritussystems What is the military philosophy of using cotton blend pants? In backpacking wilderness survival courses I was always taught “cotton kills” because of poor insulation and wicking when wet. There must be data or a best practice us non-mil guys can learn from?

@spiritussystems UFPRO are a good mix of Durable and Comfort. Also innovative with adjustment bands, pockets, and vents. $$$$ tho is one downside, which isnt a downside if you think its going towards quality.
