9 out of 10 promos I receive right now sound like a worse version of Chris Stussy, Josh baker, east end dubs or Beltran… what happened to being original?

By all means take inspiration from artists you like, but if you’re straight up imitating basslines, vocals, synths, right down to the arrangement, then you’re never gonna create anything fresh. You might fit in, but you won’t stand out.

Was stood in the best club in the world last night (DC-10) and got to witness Bibi, Pawsa and Dennis Cruz drop my new one in the garden. I’ve always made records with this place in mind so to be there for this was the best feeling. Selfish out now❤️
