Dear @FA and @premierleague - in light of today’s events in Denmark, how about you make sure every grassroots club has a free defibrillator instead of asking them to stump up £800?

@smpbrixton @FA @premierleague You know that money they got from the ESL clubs as their fines? That should do it. £19.2m / £800 = 24,000 defibrillators.

@smpbrixton @FA @premierleague Maybe they can also get this out on metal posters that are protected against the elements and should be hung outside club houses and next to the pitch! What’s the price of life then FA and Premier League? With the extra money from the ‘Big 6’

@smpbrixton @JackDunc1 @FA @premierleague Why don't the 20 Premiership Clubs contribute £20,000 each to a Joint Defibrillator fund? That would raise £400,000 which would be enough to buy 500 defibrillators. Then donate the defibrillators to all the Divisions below the Premiership. That would be most of the lower leagues.

@smpbrixton @footballisfixed @FA @premierleague It isn't just football. All sports need access. Is it realistic for every sports facilities? Financially, yes, if the elite are pressured into it - unlikely they'll offer out of the goodness of their heart. It needs trained people willing to give their time, there aren't enough.
