Our hearts are with the Rose Park community following this evening's tragic shooting. @SLCPD is actively investigating and will share updates as information becomes available. We encourage residents to follow official sources for accurate and timely information.
We are on scene of a shooting at 660 N. Redwood Road. 2 people were killed and at least 6 more have been injured with at least 3 of those in critical condition. The suspects are still outstanding, but our officers have obtained solid leads and are working to locate those

The City Council has adopted Salt Lake City’s $2.2 billion annual budget for Fiscal Year 2025-26. This budget includes funding to improve public safety, support affordable housing, maintain public spaces, enhance transit access and invest in street safety and infrastructure.
