Neuroscience-informed leadership advice from Misha Byrne: Hire diverse brains and manage dopamine intentionally. Small dopamine drops activate the frontal lobe, but a dopamine deficit will destroy creativity & productivity.

AI doesn't carry responsibility. There's currently no legal system that can chase AI for wrong decisions. So,  the right question is not whether AI can be trusted, but where it should never be trusted to decide ALONE. #AI #ResponsibleAI #ArtificialIntelligence @carlovdweijer

Everyone seems to have a hangover "cure" that really just combats symptoms. Companies like @ZBioticsCompany are using biotech to skip to the source. They're not stopping there, soon we'll see a new generation of engineered probiotics solutions for human longevity.

The cost of reading and writing DNA has dropped expeditiously in the last 10 years. What used to cost thousands now can be done with a few bucks & a weekend. The stage is set for biotech innovation. Have a bold idea? Now is the time. @ZBioticsCompany https://t.co/HewX0ej8lB

It still often takes a decade to get bioinnovations to market. The solution: infrastructure. Ecosystems. Regulations. Consumer acceptance. The invisible forces that determine which innovations thrive and which ones never escape the research paper. https://t.co/SXdWvreO7n

What's the future of biotech? A of circular economy with bio-organisms turning waste & into valuable compounds. More biodegradable materials. Enzymes that can remove chemicals and toxins from our water. "I see a much cleaner world" @nadinebongaerts

People think #biotech is distant from their daily life, but every day you're using products developed by biotech without even realizing. One example: If you wear contact lenses, every day you're taking them out of a solution of enzymes developed by biotech. @nadinebongaerts

Agentic AI systems are good, but they're brittle. For simple tasks in a tight time constraint, an AI agent may be a great solution. But use caution, as tasks become more complex, humans far outperform. (For now)

If quantum becomes stable and scalable (@carlovdweijer 's estimate: 10-15 years) certain AI workloads could accelerate exponentially. Especially complex simulations, drug discovery, materials science. But it's no silver bullet. Most AI progress comes from better architectures,

Quantum isn't a game changer for AI yet. The hype exceeds reality. Where it gets interesting: optimization problems (think reinforcement learning, molecular simulations) and certain cryptography-related applications. But for standard deep learning I don’t see it yet.

Real data sovereignty is about the entire stack, who has access to encryption keys, who can access data for law enforcement, who controls the hardware supply chain.

With hyperscalers you get compliance guarantees and local data centers, but ultimately you're running on their infrastructure, their APIs, their update cycles. Sovereign control means: when it hits the fan (like geopolitical tensions, legal disputes, supply chain disruptions)

Is sovereign control of data different from governments or companies simply hosting sensitive workloads on global hyperscalers like Microsoft Azure, even w/ local data centers & compliance guarantees? The difference isn't about where the servers sit, but who holds the keys. 🔐

The future is shaped by where we spend our time. By automating the busywork, we free leaders to focus on what matters most: connecting, imagining, and creating a future that reflects the best of humanity. Technology is the tool, but humanity is the heart.
