@essentialassess @essentialassess and please, please have either a human or a better text to speech engine do the video voiceovers. Good online tools for learning are are great, but if they are not extremely reliable then they become a source of frustration and hinder rather than help learning.

@essentialassess also the badge proudly saying you are aligned to NSW curriculum obscures the ’connect with us' text in the footer on your site on mobile in portrait. Though to be fair, in portrait the badges don't appear anyway so being unobstructed would not help.

@Qantas (Although when I did get through to someone, they were friendly and able to help out).

@Qantas And the premium automated message on the 24 hour phone number that if the flight isn't in the next 24 hours, I should call back later.

Apparently one of the @Qantas premium services people pay for is a web chat bot that directs you to an online form. @Finnair web chat on the other hand responded with a human in <2 minutes and was very helpful (but eventually told me I needed to talk to Qantas).

I am grateful that we have many polling places so there are not prohibitive queues to vote, and that elections are held on Saturdays so many people are not working (acknowledging the variation in which groups are less likely to work Saturdays, and regional variation).

I am grateful that mandatory voting can soften 'enthusiastic voter' and 'turnout' effects somewhat.

I am grateful that our preferential voting system means we can have parties other than the big two (even when I dislike many of the platforms of those smaller parties).

Happy election day! Once again, regardless of whether I like the outcome or not, I am grateful for much of our electoral system!.

It is disappointing that @back4blood isn't on GeForce Now. It's a great platform for all us folks who don't want to buy a gaming machine or a console, but are happy to buy a good game.

Ugh, can't use ABC iView now unless I register. Mandatory registration is the feature no-one wanted or needed. Maybe we can all share one account from bugmenot and their data analytics can suffer.

apparently the ABC has only received 118 complaints about moving to mandatory login for iView. If you, like me, think requiring a login for iView is bollocks, complain here: (mandatory login will come in sometime in July).

I really like the idea of a service that removes all the padding from rambling business and management books, but I need Readers Digest Condensed levels of abridgement, not the blinkist 15-minute read level of content removal. Does this exist?.

With businesses not having good and consistent ways to record visitors, maybe @VicGovDHHS can get on the phone to @minhealthnz and have a chat about licensing their NZ COVID Tracer app, even just for people visiting homes.

Based on this comment (from the Guardian) I imagine it's fine to continue with prior plans up to the point the enter Melbourne or Mitchell Shire.

It somehow seems like Dutton and Morrison are what you would get if you somehow split the nastiness and the blusteriness of trump into separate physical manifestations, and managed to spread the opportunism and lack of concern for the public good evenly across the two.

I can't count the number of the times trying to submit feedback on a website results in me submitting two feedback forms: one the main feedback, and one how ghastly the feedback system is (usually one of: losing content on changing options, or inadequate/useless categories).

I have had four or five promo emails today and I'm getting pretty jack of it pretty quickly. I'd also quite like to know how you got the other email address, actually.

I guess during a pandemic when people are distracted is a good time to get extra ASIO powers. I'd love for everyone who is/was worried about privacy and government reach with #covidsafe to call or email their local member about this.

Under cover of a pandemic Dutton quietly tables legislation to allow kids as young as 14 to be detained by ASIO. Australia is becoming even more of a police state and we desperately need a Charter of Rights.
