@HannoKlausmeier Who cares about renewables vs nuclear share? The goal is a low CO2 grid. And on that metric, Germany is an abject failure

Germany switched off their three remaining nuclear plants. All the nuclear zealots argued: Coal plants will take over the nuclear share in Germany's electricity mix. Reality is however: Germany switched off nuclear and renewables took over the COAL and the NUCLEAR share!!

@sideen_dan @HannoKlausmeier We have 2023 now. In 2000 we had 25 Atomics and 671 Gramms CO2 per kWh, now we have Zero Atomics and at a 400 gramms CO2 per kWh Tendency: sinking

@Micha_weiss_es @HannoKlausmeier Wow. We got rid of coal in 6 years & kept our home grown nuclear. Ontario's CO2 intensity is less than 1/8th that of Germany. And our electricity is half the price.

@sideen_dan @HannoKlausmeier You might have selected Germany, but Poland is what is centered and is darker.

@RyanCappo @HannoKlausmeier The android app seems to center the map a bit far to the East. Sometimes I recenter it & sometimes I forget.
