Unpopular opinion but I donโt want pre teens in the sims 4. I just want better teens. The jump from child to teen shouldnโt be so drastic and small tweaks like height would fix it

Yeah I've never seen a need for preteens. It's just another life state that would end up being generally underutilized.

Yes I so agree with this! Although I donโt see the height of teens changing in TS4 just bc theyโd have to redo all the animations and adjust all the clothes, but I hope that the next iteration of the game does it better

It's really hard to tell which sims are teens or young adults. Some of the clothes feel very inappropriate for the female teens. Looks great on the young adults though. Wish we had prom, slumber parties for teens. Pillow fights would be fun.

I loved that with the Sims 3. However, it's pretty accurate that they look like adults because that's how teens look these days๐ญ๐ญ๐ญ

I want preteens. ofc better teens are needed but I don't play with toddler or child sims often because because they're too young and they have no personality.

Teens are the same height as adults in the sims so that they could reuse adult animations on them, rather than having to create separate animations for teens like kids and toddlers have. Just another way they cut corners and do the bare minimum

Seeing it would be complicated to as hell to add different heights at this stage (rlly wish they were in game tho!) Iโm actually down for preteens being added to the game, as long as they tweak the teens a little bit to make them more fun to play

I feel similarly. If there was a change in body so you don't just jump height and how matured they look then I'd be fine with no pre-teens but if preteens are made to look like preteens then I'll take it.

If they do anything with preteens it should be an add on to the child stage rather than teen. Because children are so boring in the sims 4
