Who the hell is saying it being open world is a bad thing. Also, this is moot because it isnβt open world, theyβre taking the monster Hunter approach of selecting distinct areas you can explore in rather than being able to walk to one area to another.

Eh, I agree that tons of PokΓ©mon fans ate pretty hypocritical but there are better examples, this drama mainly came from people wanting a specifically fully Open World Game (e.g botw) and being dissapointed that it was more semi (e.g. monster hunter stories) Still kinda dumb tho
