Beginning of year staff meeting, we had to write the best thing we did all summer. Then in groups assign them grades A-F. It was SO HORRIBLE to see people’s faces as their summer joys were deemed “failures”!! It was supposed to be a lesson on grading but I still remember my D

I’m with those who say all of them. Unless the workshop requires interaction among participants who don’t know each other, it’s not something I want to do. And then I only see a purpose in it if it’s on topic...

We did this absolutely horrible one the first day of high school. It's a race, groups of 3. Two people lay on the ground, one on top of the other, grabbing each other's ankles. A 3rd person now has to "be born", by pushing their body through the slit between the two other bodies.

I'm not big on them so am tempted to say "any." In general I think the less connected they are from a session's actual content, the worse. E.g. favorite TV show / vacation spot / cruciferous vegetable.

After you gather this feedback I’d love to see you reconnect with the same folks and ask them how they classify themselves - introvert or extrovert. I find the icebreaker answer of dissatisfaction lies somewhere in there.
